
The curriculum for this course consists of individual and group activities. Experiences are offered which guide and stimulate the growth and development of the physical characteristics of endurance, strength, power, balance, flexibility, and coordination. A wide range of individual, dual, team, and coed activities are offered in order to better prepare you for high school physical education and for fitness and recreational activities for the years beyond high school. Sports and activities may include the following: aerobics, archery, badminton, basketball, creative games, dance, Fitness for Life concepts, flag football, golf, lacrosse, pickle ball, recreational games, self-defense, softball, soccer, team handball, track and field, tumbling, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and weight training.
The main ingredient for success is your participation. When you participate and try to do your best, fun, fitness, and improvement will follow.
