Posted on 07/14/2020
Science Lab Info

The first series of projects funded by the DJUSD Bond Program will include the construction of new science labs at the Emerson/ Da Vinci Junior High School campus.  Specifically, the project will provide four new science labs that are consistent with the Next Generation Science Standards.  Each classroom will be 1,440 square feet and will include eight dedicated lab stations as well as flexible furniture to support lecture and small group instruction.  In addition to the new science labs, two dedicated science preparation rooms and student/staff restrooms will be provided.

Virtual Community Outreach Invitation

To protect the health, well-being, and public safety of students, employees and community members and consistent with the current shelter-in-place orders from the State of California and guidelines from Yolo County, DJUSD Bond Program Community Outreach meetings cannot be held in person.  To share information about the facility improvements at Emerson and Da Vinci Junior High, a pre-recorded presentation has been posted on the Bond website at www.djusd.net/bond/outreach.  Public comment, questions or concerns about this project are welcome and encouraged.  We will be reviewing feedback emailed to  facilityplanning@djusd.net until the end of the public comment period, Sunday, July 26.
