Library Mission

The mission of the Davis Joint Unified School District Libraries is to foster a lifelong love and habit of reading while promoting skills and literacy in the ethical and effective use of information and technology among all students. This is accomplished by the instruction of teacher librarians supported by technicians, who work collaboratively with faculty and staff and oversee the provision of a wide variety of print and electronic resources.

Fridays: 8:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.


*1st Wednesday of each month closed in morning for staff collaboration

*3rd Wednesday of each month closes at 3:30 p.m. for staff meeting
